About QR Forge
A free QR code generator that runs entirely in your browser. No signup, no data collection, no limits.
QR Forge was built to solve a common frustration: most online QR code generators either require an account, watermark the output, limit how many codes you can create, or upload your data to their servers. We wanted a tool that simply works — paste your content, get a QR code, and move on.
Everything runs locally in your browser. When you enter a URL, WiFi password, or contact details, that information is processed by JavaScript on your device and never sent anywhere. The QR code is rendered on an HTML canvas element in real time. Your data stays with you.

Why We Built This
QR codes are everywhere — restaurant menus, business cards, product packaging, event tickets, WiFi signs. But the tools to make them are often cluttered with upsells, account walls, and unnecessary complexity. QR Forge strips away the noise. One page, one purpose, zero friction.
The tool works offline once loaded. There are no API calls, no server-side processing, and no tracking of what you generate. Ads help keep the tool free without charging users or locking features behind paywalls.
Built With
QR Forge is a single-page web application built with vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. QR code generation uses the QRious library running client-side. The site is hosted on Netlify with zero server-side processing. The entire application is a single HTML file — no frameworks, no build tools, no dependencies beyond the QR rendering library.
